Would UCB rescind an acceptance over 3 B's and 3 A's?

My GPA for 10th-11th grade is a 3.79, so would they see 3 B’s and 3 A’s as too big of a drop and cancel my acceptance? What if it were 3 C’s and 3 A’s? (both of the above examples pass the requirement for the GPA that must be maintained in senior year, but since UCB is the best would they look at it harder?) Thanks!

They didn’t post their decisions so idk why this is a concern for you. If you are asking about your mid year report, don’t let anything drop below a B.

Yes. Accept it. You’re going to community college. Go fill out that app for ITT Tech.
On a more serious note, no. You’ll be fine. Just maintain a 3.0 and enjoy your last semester of high school, because if you’re coming to Cal for anything STEM, it’ll be the last time you have free time during school.

Re-read your conditions in your acceptance letter. I believe they ask you to tell them if you receive 2 or more 'C’s.

In the end, I doubt they would rescind your acceptance for this, but why tempt fate?

UCB’s provisional admission states you need to maintain a 3.0 unweighted GPA with no D’s or F’s. 2 or more C’s would potentially drop your GPA down below 3.0.

Isn’t the 3.0 GPA requirement referring to OVERALL gpa? It would take a lot more than 3 C’s to drop from 3.79 to 3.0. So you’re fine as long as you don’t get any D’s or F’s. And, no, I don’t think Berkeley is any more strict about this than any other UC. I’m pretty sure they just send everyone’s grades through the computer and those that don’t meet the cutoff get flagged.

Uhhh, but why would your grades be so precarious? I mean, 3 C’s is a lot. Are you taking a particularly heavy load? Or are you just trying to figure out how much you can party your last semester?

**Note: I don’t recall if there is something about not getting 2 or more C’s your final semester. If there is, then it could affect your admission.
