Would USAFA rather see consistency or large improvement throughout high school?

Would the United States Air Force Academy rather see consistency (high grades, good amount extracurricular activities and athletics, and excellent standardized tests) or large improvement throughout high school (low grades, low amount of extracurricular activities and athletics, and low standardized test scores in the beginning of high school, but was inspired by the Academy and improved to have high grades, good amount extracurricular activities and athletics, and excellent standardized tests during the middle and end of high school)?

Either way can work; there’s really no point in wondering what emotions and connotations are conjured up in the minds of admissions personnel when they consider the two cases above. Just go work hard and put forth maximum effort in everything you do. That’s all they can ask for.
