I'm an international, but I might qualify for in-state.
I go to a public school in VA. Class of 2011.

GPA: 3.75 (uw) --I have straight As for my sophomore year/ junior year. Cs/Bs for freshman.
--Top 25% Class Rank.

SAT: 2300 // 760 800 740 (1560 without writing)

SAT2: taking Math2 and Physics this October. I'm sure I'd get 800 for math, at around 750~800 for Physics.

EC: Founder/President of Math Club. VP of 4H Club. Band 1st Chair Clarinet. Varsity Captain of ACE Team. Varsity member of Cross country, Indoor Track.

So, I hear UVA has an outstanding business course. McIntire? Not sure.

Once again, would UVA be considered a match for me?

You look really solid to me. Keep up your grades your senior year, and I’d say you have a great chance at many schools, including UVA. Good luck!

^I tried to keep it as simple as possible.
The requested information is the following:
Freshman Year: Private school in korea. No honors or AP classes were offered. Bs / Cs
(trust me, every class in korea was HARD)

Sophomore Year: Private Christian school in Florida. No honors or Ap classes were offered.
Straight A+s (98+)

Junior Year: Public school in VA. All honors and AP Calculus AB. (the only other AP offered was US History; I avoided it. I don’t even know Korean history that well.) Straight 100s.

Senior Year: Public school in VA + Governor’s School. AP Physics, AP Literature, AP Government / General Biology, Linear Algebra + Vector Calculus (offered at the governor’s school) would most likely get straight As.

i think it’d be quite a reach for you. honestly not to be arrogant, but just for perspective: i had a 4.0(uw), ranked 2/115, had a TON of ECs along with many leadership positions, ton of volunteer work…and i got wait-listed. the only thing you got on me is your SAT scores. I had only a 2050 and my SAT IIs were in the 600s.

^ I think the problem there was the fact that your scores did not line up with your amazing GPA and the class rank. The school cannot help but think that your school is easy.
