<p>....still require me to take the TOEFL test if I can score 700+ on the SAT CR and Writing? I know that I would need better score for admission, but would such scores be enough to waive the TOEFL requirement?</p>

<p>It's just that from the schools I'm interested in, I would only have to take that test for Yale and since it would take a lot of money and time, I'd rather not do it.</p>

<p>I skipped doing and sending TOEFL in altogether, but I'd been at an American cc for two years. I like to believe they're decent about waiving that kind of bureaucratic stuff if the rest of your application clearly shows there's no need.</p>
