Would you advise Stats before MCAT?

D is a rising Junior and will have all pre-req's done before taking the MCAT next spring except stats. Changing her schedule is very doable if stats is beneficial for the MCAT, or can she just put it off till Senior year?

There’s no stats on the MCAT, in fact no math at all except for simple ±*/

Thanks ChemFreak, that’s all I needed to know!

Actually there’s logs and antilogs and exponents and sines and cosines and tangents too.

oh yeah there is but thats not that much more complicated, they give you the sin, cos, tan if its not 30 or 60 (and maybe they do for those too?, i can’t remember)

Thanks guys, I guess she is taking stats 2nd semester after all.

Yeah, all you need to know is sin and cos of 0 30 45 60 90 and you are good.

My kid said her lack of stats prior to MCAT was no biggie.

Yep, no math on MCAT.
