Exactly, or do you (Madd Stressed) know what "QNS-BackQuad" means?

Oy I tire of this elitism. Even if it's just a joke, it still perpetuates the concept.

"Actually the only people you will see wearing Oxford or Cambridge sweatshirts have no connection with the universities and bought the gear in a tourist shop. No undergraduate or graduate would wear something with an Oxford/Cambridge logo, they would wear something from their college, which would be very unlikely to be recognised by the great majority of the population."

Yes, they do. I live near both Oxford and Cambridge and I have seen both alumni and students wearing the merchandise. I haven't seen very much specific college apparel, though.

Well I'm surprised because I've never seen either. (And how do you live near both - they are 100 miles apart?)

Funnily enough whenever i am in oxford i see a lot of american students
(i presume they are) wearing Harvard, Dartmouth, Princeton sweatshirts!

I have also seen plenty of oxford students wearing Oxford sweatshirts.

I would totally BUY IT!!!

all i know is i saw some 40-something woman wearing a "harvard alumni" backpack and i was absolutely repulsed. i think its fine to wear through grad school and maybe a bit after.

I love the crimson red Harvard hooded sports tops.

you mean, one of THESE?

Oooh, that actually is quite nice...:p

One of my friends got me that same hoodie in Cambridge last week--when they went down there for some big debate tournament. It's very comfortable.

i have tons of sweatshirts with the names of ivy leagues on them. its no big deal at my school, since lots of kids wear them.
