Would you ever get plastic surgery?

you will immediately curse your decision to get 34G breasts the moment you need to buy a functional bra. seriously.

Maybe, but probably not. I’ve considered a nose job, but I don’t think I’ll ever have both the money and nerve to do it.

MARTHA!

where have you been all my life?

I’m guessing the person who wanted to go from D’s to G’s was kidding? That would be like someone requesting lips the size of her face…it’s so extreme it would look ridiculous and people would openly laugh. Don’t models have really small boobs, like 32A? unless you’re in the porn industry or something lol…but even G’s are extreme for those gals :D

yeah i’ve met several asian girls in college who have confessed they’ve gotten something “tweaked” (usually eyes, nose and once calves - huh?!) what’s up with trying to buy caucasian features? I guess it’s because a high slim nose and big eyes are seen as more attractive?

i don’t know why they’d do that; i think asian girls are so hot! (both eastern & southern asians)

Leah! It’s spring break, I’m bored, I came back!!!

G isn’t really “so extreme that people would openly laugh.” I wear an F cup and nobody openly laughs in my face. A G is not much larger. Letters past D are not as giant and scary as people seem to think. And if she’s a fetish model, having G cup breasts is pretty much whatever, definitely not “extreme.”

But ohhhhhh buying bras would suck so hard, especially with a small back size like 34.

I don’t imagine that I’d get plastic surgery unless I somehow became disfigured. There’s nothing about me that I hate enough to change, except a skin condition that cosmetic procedures can’t fix. The risk of botched surgeries or a bad reaction to anesthesia is just absolutely not worth it to me.

What kind of modeling needs big boobs? I know it’s not high-fashion. I’ve never seen anyone strut down a fashion week runway with large breasts. Are we talking about car mags or something lol? If so, that’s kind of ridiculous. Plus, how many of those models actually sustain that career well past their 40s? Excessively large breasts would be a bad investment, imo.

leah - well i’m south asian and I know that in the east asian community, larger eyes are seen as more attractive…and in the south asian community, a smaller nose is, so that probably explains it.

Egolikestomatch - that’s cause you’re naturally an F - imagine if you came in to work/school one day and instead of an F you were 2 sizes larger, an H (does that exist?!) and said you’d gotten them done. Tell me you wouldn’t get some funny looks…
sorry i’m not familiar with the world of fetish modeling :stuck_out_tongue: but dayumm girl, those G’s would get heavy to carry around!

Having G’s would be SO painful for your back. I couldn’t even imagine it…I’d say a lot of women with breasts naturally that size get them surgically reduced.

Also I can’t imagine any man seriously preferring a G-cup over a D–they’re both definitely large enough.

To be honest, I don’t think chest size matters to most guys. I got just as much attention when I was an A-cup as I do now (I went on birth control and miraculously gained two cup sizes haha).

To be honest, G’s aren’t that huge. They are only two sizes up from what I have now, which would equate into a DDD (which is not uncommon). They don’t look super unnatural with clothing on. One of my coworkers is petite and wears a size one but has her breasts done out to a 32G-F and they don’t look strange (with or without clothing). She never complains of back trouble.

A perk to having implants with larger boobs is that they won’t sag in years to come. Since I already have a large size, they’ll be subject to sag later in life, which is unattractive even if you aren’t in a modeling career.

Since I also dance part time, it would help bring in more money since girls with larger breasts make more money guaranteed then ones with smaller breasts. Most guys are interested in big breasted women, especially ones that are looking at porn and female dancers.

Plus I think big breasts are sexy :)

I was going to get a nose job over winter break but then I decided to transfer so I was too busy to deal with it. I’m going to get it over the next winter break instead of summer though because I’ll be playing college soccer in fall and a shot to the face just isn’t appealing. My heritage is a strange mix and pretty much I have the bone structure and facial charicteristics of a Native American and the eye, hair, and skin color of a Hispanic person. Combined with breaking my nose twice I think plastic surgery is an acceptable solution.

I’m not gonna lie, I thought about the calf reduction surgery. I’m 104 lbs and my calves… are HUGE compared to rest of my body, it’s thick as my thigh!! T_T sniff

It’s not even about having caucasian features, asians started developing their own aesthetics that evolved from that so its completely on different set of terms. Asians like HUGE doll like eyes, small faces (important), slim faces (people cut their chins), and very skinny, anorexic looking girls. Ideal weight for many women is 45 kg (99 lbs) which was what I wanted for awhile  sigh. caucasian people don’t even understand these aesthetics anymore so I wouldn’t say its about wanting to look white or something -_- that’s like saying black people with certain types of weaves/fake hair are trying to be white/white people trying to tan are trying to be latinos or something. Utterly ridiculous. Aesthetics are different everywhere and they all affect each other.

I mean I think alot of people here like the way asians look because of the exotic factor, but in asia caucasians look exotic…;; lol. Alot of asian people actually think lucy liu looks ugly haha, they don’t understand why american people think she looks good.

nineteen-ooh tell me how that goes. I actually wanna see how you look right now because that combo sounds really interesting.

nineteen - aren’t most hispanics simply a combo of european/native american? i can’t imagine it looking weird, but there’s nothing wrong with getting your nose done after you’ve broken it twice.

uyulove - I’m south asian myself so i understand how it is. but you can’t deny that many of the desired features just happen to look more caucasian…larger eyes, slimmer calves, a thin high nose as opposed to the flat, wide nose many east asians have. and in the south asian community, well, look at Bollywood celebs - these women don’t look anything like the typical Indian woman, they practically look white. They have lighter skin, a thinner, higher nose, often wear blue/green colored contacts, and dye their hair lighter.

^I’m not gonna lie, but that’s also because of the dominance of hollywood cinema and european/american aesthetics that spread over the world since it is more economically successful (therefore have more social impact in the world). All the cultural influences from european/american spread to the rest of the world but I think from there it evolved into a new standard within that community. Caucasians don’t understand Asian aesthetics all that much anymore (like double eyelids. Most white people can’t even tell the difference). Asian people don’t understand much of the time why white people want to get a tan (Where I was, people wore hats, parasols, sunblock, gloves to stay lighter).
i mean before the european influence came in, asian beauty standards were completely different… large foreheads, long eyes, etc.

In the end, It’s always about wanting to have something that people don’t naturally have.
Asian people don’t typically have huge eyes or high noses so that became the new aesthetic standard. Like now people want to be thin although they used to think being a lil overweight was beautiful.

I dunno, I like asian girl look with huge round eyes and thin nose and thin lips but they don’t look white to me… I like the anime looking people haha and the whole cute look which is usually what I dress like… lol

Did anyone ever see that True Life on MTV where that dumbass wanted to get calf augmentation surgery (calf implants)?

^how does that work??
he/she can have mine -_- lol jk jk

This really insecure jock wanted bigger calves so he spent like $10K on surgery. And here’s the best part–at the end of the episode, they looked exactly the same!

i would never get elective surgery simply b/c i wouldn’t like all my family+friends taking notice of it and thinking different of me.
