Would you give up a real acceptance for Trojan Transfer Plan?

Anyone going to go for the Trojan Transfer Plan over a real in-the-hand acceptance at a four-year university?

My son may be making this decision, but only if he’s offered the Paris option. It’s very hard to weigh TTP against a pre-admit to the Ross School of Business at Michigan. Sigh.

Agreed, I’d go to UM.

Go to UM first. If he does not like it there, he can use TTP to transfer to USC. Win-win.

That’s what I am thinking. Set up TTP, go for one year to another college. See if you still even want to transfer. I guess some classes might not transfer if it is not a CC, but so what.

we’re visiting Michigan for the first time soon, but he has never loved the idea of living there. Also got a scholarship to NE’s bus program, and Tulane. But neither seem competitive with Ross program/recruitment/prestige-wise. In many areas Ross is above even Marshall, but alas, he wanted USC. Luckily we are in a position where he want him to pick the best option, not the best scholarship only. Sigh.
