Suppose you are asked to choose among Brown, Swarthmore and Northwestern, what's your decision? Which one is the best place to prepare for my future career in business area, as well as to get some academic achievement in econ?
Thanks a lot.

(i'm admitted to brown, waitlisted to swarthmore and very likely to enter northwestern. But i'm afarid i have to make the decision on brown before getting know the other two results)

Thanks to all people updating their information and experience here!

um, its may 19th…

Anyhow, I would narrow it down to Brown and Northwestern unless you think you will thrive in a small community like Swarthmore’s where most everybody knows each other. Between Brown and Northwestern for business, I think both have excellent econ departments and would probably base the decision on other factors ie location, ivy vs. big 10 in terms of school spirit, etc.

if you wanna do banking then Brown but for consulting I would go with NU,

you can’t really go wrong either way.
