calm down carlos. He is so dumb.

Just because he makes fun of incestuous couples and their offspring doesn’t mean you need to compare him to a Republican. Geezelaweeze.

nah, he is just unoriginal. I like Mr. Lopez better

I would judge you. Big time.

arent you a little late

Sees topic title

Your answer is YES.

As I said before, without getting to know the person I can only assume this person reflects their parents. It is a reasonable assumption. To say you would not judge is a bold-faced lie and even you admitted to it.

If a person was raised by two fascist parents, would it not make sense to analyze this aspect when making a judge of character? That’s not to say your parents are the ultimate deciders of personality, but to disregard such a powerful influence would be reckless.

i wouldn’t judge you for that reason :/

At first, yes. Once I get to know you, no.

I don’t think I would ever know unless you told me or your parents told me.

I have several relatives in Mexico who married second cousins (though I don’t know if they are closely enough related to call it ‘incest’), and none of their children have any health issues. It’s not seen as taboo in that region, and I only just found out a year ago. I know the parents well (grew up with them as aunts/uncles), and they aren’t freaks or anything, so I don’t judge the parents and especially not the children.

And honestly, you can’t look at a person and know if they’re a product of incest. You don’t look at somebody with a rare disease and think “Well obviously, they’re a product of incest!”

A girl at my school, however, has parents that showcase the fact that they’re cousins. Their license plates says something along the lines of “Kissing Cousins” but shortened and whatnot to make it fit.

I don’t view cousins as incest. I was thinking more of a father and a daughter or uncle and niece or something like that.

same afrufff

but does my judgement pertain any truth values? I don’t know in the beginning, therefore, it renders my origional judgement null and void. It exists as a subjective judgement so far as I confine my vision to myself.
We are talking about value judgement here not about ******** judgement. We make judgement everyday, and majority of them doesn’t really matter.
Even if I do think you are horrible in the beginning, it is not my rational choice, but a unconscious or subconsicious one instilled by the societal rules. It is not by logic that I justify you as an evil person but by didactic doctrines the society injected into my vunlerable teenager brain.

Seriously, why does it matter.. i mean.. my opinion is ********, so are the others… it is important to talk to people about it rather than think how people are going to judge you… Americans are very good at rhetoric.. they say:“Duh, I don’t judge you, but you’re weird.”

No. I wouldn’t judge the child.

Though I would judge the parents. A lot, if it wasn’t consensual.

I mean, I’d treat Josef Fritzl’s daughter’s kids the same as any other kid.

@pharmakeus01

So you see nothing wrong when a child who has not fully developed their mind to make rational decisions is taken advantage by someone older? Incest is not a free choice in most cases; it is a product of indoctrination and deep-seated psychological problems. That is hardly something to just ignore.

“At first, yes. Once I get to know you, no.”

Of course you will not judge a person after because judgement is solely based on first impressions. You cannot possibly judge the person once you get to know him or her.

i’ll try not to judge u, but i’ll prbly just feel extreme pity for you.

& no i dont mean distant-cousins type thing, when i hear ‘incest’ i mean like really closely related ppl like the whole fritzl thing

Yeah b/c incest means different things in certain cultures. But closer than cousins is a crime, no matter what anyone else says.
Tell me, why was this thread created?

To talk about incest and our feelings about it with all of the recent outbreaks of them. The australians and austrians. How do you think the world is going to perceive them coming from the background that they are from.

haha incests are very popular throughout much of human history.
If Adam and Eve are true, we are all products of incest.
The real problem considers incest is how we define incest, and to what extend should we judge incestuous people?

@pharmakeus

If you really believe Adam and Eve were true, then there was no incest since angels mated with their kids…

If you think we evolved from microorganisms, then I guess you could say we are products of incest since bacteria reproduce asexually.

As I said before, I define incest as anything closer than cousins. The extent to which you should judge a person for these actions should be high since clearly these people rest upon manipulation of helpless people.
