Princeton University - Barnard receives Sachs Scholarship

From the Daily Princetonian:

Sachs Scholarship awarded to Barnard '09 - The Daily Princetonian

“I’m just blown away. I feel incredibly lucky and fortunate,” Barnard said. “I’m really honored that the committee was sort of willing to look past my weirdness and the fact that I may be not what conventionally they are looking for, but to realize that I am really committed to what I’m doing and that I want to do what’s best for the world.”

Freegan = people who eat out of dumpsters.

Kid's a freak. Hope the trash at Oxford is as good as it is in Princeton.

Actually he isn't a freak. He is an awesome person. If you personally don't know people you shouldn't be calling them freaks. Freeganism is not only about eating out of dumpsters. There is a larger message that Freegans are trying to convey and eating out of dumpsters is just one of the ways that they do that. You might want to look into it more before you start calling people freaks. If you don't agree with what they do then fine but Alex Barnard is one of my good friends and I don't think you should be calling him a freak because he is a freegan.
