^Why does that sound stereotypical to me?
And my answer to the question, no. I’d rather have a lasting relationship with someone I know will live by my side for a long time.

Sounds reminiscing of Ender’s Game with Petra and Bean.

I suppose I would. After all, I would love them and want to be with them, even if it would only be for six months.

Haha, you acknowledged the source of the question.

Not sure how it was stereotypical. Her posts are hard to decipher sometimes and she often mentions that either she or her parents are immigrants, so it was an honest question.

^ WOW. I was only joking when I said that.

English is my first language along with Somali. Then Arabic as my second.

You’re such a ***** for asking me that AND telling me that my writing is difficult to understand. It’s only a forum. It’s not like I’m writing an English paper on here…

^Case and point.

^^ Whatever. It was an honest question.

And the wow was “wow, I can’t believe someone actually said that.” If you don’t like reactions to what you write, don’t post on a forum. shrugs

my english teacher had this personally happen to her a couple years ago. It read like a nicholas sparks novel, basically the guy was just about to graduate from northwestern with a mangement and electrical engineering degree, but he contracted a severe form of bone cancer, and the day before he died she married him on his death bed.

our class was SHOCKED when we found out what happened, she took a month off, but afterwards she was back to her peppy self.

i personally would become to emotionally damaged if that happened to me, but would do the same thing if i truly loved them.

^ That’s cute and tragic at the same time. I couldn’t imagine bouncing back after a month like that, but I’m glad she did.
