<p>Okay so I spoke to my parents about attending UMich and they liked it, however they wanted me to go to Penn St. because its cheaper and closer to home. So lately, I've definitely been more interested in it and my parents really want me to go there, so they had made me an offer. I can either go to UMich and they will pay for all my needs, however expensive. Or I can go to Penn St. and my dad will give my 75% of the money that I would have spend on tuition on UMich for starting out my life after I graduate college. I just want to know if UMich's education is too superior for that type of offer to stand or vice versa. Which would you take?</p>

<p>PS. I calculated the amount back to be around $60,000.</p>

<p>i would go to michigan b/c you would probably earn 60,000 more than you would at PSU in a 3 or 4 years</p>

<p>I would just go to Penn State UP, a lot of people underestimate it and I really don't think that the difference between penn state and michigan is worth 60,000 (if you take advantage of all the opportunities that are offered to you at psu)</p>

<p>Well if it matters, I would probably consider either going UP, Smeal or Honors.</p>
