So, this thread is all about choices. You got into two colleges / universities and you have to decide which one to go to. I want to know everybody here has different opinions...Which one would you pick? I will mention two different schools and the person after me can answer which one they'd prefer and give their reasons. Then that person can also mention two schools and so on...

Aw…but that was based only on prestige. I was asking to get real favorites, based on your real choices. Maybe this needs to start on April 3rd, like it did last year, because we don’t know what those real choices will be right now. So where would you rather go, noimagination?

^^Macalester because their science department is getting more funding

Yale is an amazingly overall school and it beats UPenn, but if you wanted business, Wharton (Penn) wins. I especially liked Yale’s residential college system and the try-out-your-courses that Yale offers.

Smith, even though I would never go to a women’s college (not because I’m not a woman, because I am). I don’t really know too much about Mount Holyoke.

Hampshire…it’s better known, it’s nearer other colleges (Amherst, UMass-Amherst,…that 5-college consortium), it’s bigger (if you call 1,400 kids big), more diverse, and it really celebrates its funkiness. Bennington is a tourist attraction in Vt.
