Would you retake for a 760?

740 or 760, I don't think you should worry much about them. They're both well over 700, so spend time working on other things. If you're 700+ you should be fine.

"I'm Indian and Hindu by birth but not by choice."

*** - whats up with the not by choice part???
seems like ud change ur religion - damnnnn wassup with that

this post is utterly and completely retarded. you must be a waste of life for asking this question.

Hinduism today is being corrupted by people who use it to justify communal violence against minority communities in India and denounce you as non/anti Hindu if you don't accept everything they do and say. While I believe in Hindu philosophhy and principles to a certain extent (the core is the same as most other reigions), I can't accept the things that these people do in the name of religion. Since my way of following the religion will be denounced by these self appointed custodians of the faith I think it's better to just reject my affiliations with it.

I got a 780 (with 800's on my other two), and chose not to retake. It seems like a waste of time. The ONLY reason I would retake is if I somehow got a 2400 on my SAT...then I could make a shirt that said "2400+3x800"...but that's just a joke with my friends - there's no point retaking a 760.

wow....this is ridiculous....arrogance is bliss

I seriously still think that anything over a 700 is fine. My friend, the val. got into UPenn with a 620 bio

So if given a choice, would you follow a different organized religion?

No organized religion is not for me.

whoa...damn I thought cc was full of rich white prep kids haha jk

but man I never knew this many indians existed on this forum lol.

and whoa bluff muffin....I got a 630 in bio freshman year...but I think i need to improve because its like 40 something percentile lol.

hey sucharita, let me tell you something, all religions are the same, so don't try to single out hinduism and say it is corrupt, all organized religions are corrupt including christianity, islam, and others. I'd go a step further in saying the only reason we have a jackal as a president of our country is because of his fake moral value system and ridiculous support from extreme rightist baptists in what we now call "the bible belt" states. So please, once again, don't single out one religion, state in general that all of them are total b.s and it is once again ridiculous how people blindly follow something created to control society.

So, once again, don't insult our president.

i agree....i hate president bush....but what does this have to do with "would you retake for a 760?"? Come on guys, stop fighting and stick to the topic.

btw, after 2 months on CC, ive thoroughly realized that CC is indeed infested with rich white prep kids.....when i asked about some financial aid question pertaining to low income families....i didnt get any response on my question...cus nobody knew the answer to it cus they couldnt relate to it. Not only that, just in general, most ppl here dont receive much financial aid. At least thats what ive observed, so again, a note to the wise, CC does not represent at all a holistic picture of American hs students..unfortunately......

are you kidding me? why should you retake that thing?

is it a hinduism discussion? did not get it

I would take it again if I believe I can improve my score

lol....im guessing there is a clash of the cultures here......i dunno....but ye, seriously....760....calm down....i got a 770 on US history and i know i can do an 800...but whats the point? anything that high is just stellar, and thats it, no matter if its 760 or 800. We're both aiming for high tier schools, and I myself am aiming for an early decision Ivy, so trust me, 760 is excellent, chill out, and focus your energy on other things like your college essay or something like that.

you cc'ers are so obsessive about everything, like spending your life on this website, criticize other religions, mock others because they aren't as smart as you. you people need to seriously grow up and get some true friends. then again, most of you will be burned out by the time your 30. you guys represent the epitome of a person that has ocd or why americans are so depressed and obese. they spend their time on the computer the whole day like you guys do. wow! you guys make me laugh. out.
