would you say engineering is easier to get into than art and science?

well, I did get 800 on Math II and 770 on chem, but I also got 600 on physics, which is like 21 percentile; it looks very bad for engineering. my ECs are not really related to engineering: 2 varsity sports, volunteering, art club & such.

I also scored 790 on history. I love to learn about history and humanities, but i don't think I would want to major in pure liberal art majors. maybe Econ or CS.

also, I heard engineering is very time consuming, I sort of want to make good connections w/ people, study abroad, and enjoy my college years.

what's a good major/college for business/finance? ORIE maybe? I heard there's heavy recruiting of engineering students for finance/consulting jobs. is that true?

"I heard there's heavy recruiting of engineering students for finance/consulting jobs. is that true?"

That may or may not be true, but it certainly shouldn't be the compelling reason you major in engineering. Before you get the job offers, you need to make it through 4 very demanding years of intense studies - including physics.
