Would you take Calc BC with a good teacher or Calc AB with a bad teacher?

I'm in somewhat of a dilemma. I'm going to be a senior next year and I don't think I am a strong enough mathematician to take Calculus BC. But, the teacher for AB in my school is EVIL. She is the DEVIL. But, the teacher the BC was my Algebra 1 teacher my freshmen year and now teaches BC. She is the BEST TEACHER IN THE SCHOOL. She genuinely wants you to learn, but I don't know if I can take on the material, despite the great teacher.
WHICH ONE DO I CHOOSE? AHHHH!

I don’t know if it’s the same everywhere but at my school, BC is only 2 or 3 more chapters of stuff than AB. If your BC teacher is that much better, I would go with her; if you really need to switch to AB in the middle of the year, you’ll be ahead in the material.

Any sort of calculus requires a teacher to be patient since it’s mostly new to the student and will require them to care a lot about whether the student learns. Plus, even if you take the calc bc class, you don’t have to take the calc bc test if you think it’s hard. I think you can take the ap calc ab test even though you’re in calc bc.

Have confidence in yourself and take BC. It’ll take more work but if you are strong enough to take AP Calculus, you are strong enough to put in that extra bit of effort for BC.

If you can’t handle it you can always switch to AB. If you’re in AB you can still get help from the BC teacher instead of the AB teacher, so the bad teacher isn’t the end of the world.
