i just thought of this. you only get credits for AP tests so wouldn't it be better to just take the class in high school then again in college so you can get the A.

unless AP tests are just about saving money in college...then nvm

Taking a course twice sounds pretty pointless to me.

I'd rather get like 60 credits in AP classes so that I can start at sophomore/junior standing in college with that general education stuff out of the way.

I'm definitely taking the AP tests. If you know the material, it seems like a waste of effort to just take the same class again in college.

you'd pass up an A in a class thats basically review?

I'd pass up spending months - years of time in classes I'd already taken.

Me gusta la chocha ;)

Do colleges look at AP scores when reviewing apps?

There is no guarantee that the college introductory courses are as easy as their high school counterparts. By scoring well on AP exams, you get the opportunity to skip "weeder" courses that are meant to crush the souls of unsuspecting freshmen.

No se por que advan05 estaba pensando de la chocha, pero fue tan comico! :D

And yeah, you can submit your AP scores if you want.

don't take AP if u don't want to but if you are already in the class i think you should take the test, other wise you kind of wasted your time
