I'm not looking to in to it or anything, but it is nice. A short while ago, they sent me a card to fill out with information about myself and what I might be interested as far as ECs go. I just put Intramural/Club Sports because I thought that would be interesting. Today, I get a handwritten note:

"Matthew, Hi! My name is Katie and I'm a student assistant for the Admissions Office. I was happy to learn for your interest in Bucknell, and ntoiced that you're interested in Intramural and Club Sports. I'm sending you this brochure to help you learn more about recreational sports here at Bucknell. You will be receiving information about your major and other area of interest over the next few months. If you have any questions, feel free to email a Bucknell Student at askastudent@bucknell.edu. Have a great summer! Sincerely, Kate Lastname '09"

I'm not looking to into it....but it was a nice touch.

Northwestern sent me a handwritten thank-you card after visiting. Even though it was obviously something they sent to all visitors, I would agree that it was a nice touch.

I love when I get handwritten notes from Louisiana Tech. I think it's really nice when colleges take the time to send out stuff like that...which is why I made sure to write thank you letters/notes for the nice stuff they've done for me so far.

Even if they were from a printing machine that used their handwriting, it's still a very nice touch.

The one from my orientation leader might have been on machine (can't really tell for sure either way), but the one from the guy that showed me around was obviously written by hand.

See, one of mine is obvious and the other not so much...but now I think it is cause I ran my fingernails across it and there are indentions from pressure that aren't on computer printed stuff. Meh...who knows.

oh, i got one from franklin and marshall, and it was definitely handwritten by the guy who gave me the tour...that was nice too, even though I kinda hated the school, or at least the area it was in shudders at the thought of lancaster
