WOW.
This is really sad.
First time i took my math II's in january, i got a 720, but that was understandable considering that i left 12 blank and probably got several more wrong.

June's test: i left only 3 blank, opposed to my 12, and i got a 730! gosh, only a 10 point increase! i was confident that i would've gotten a perfect score. i swear i misbubbled or something.

AHHHH

i'm interested in applying to stanford early. however, their latest deadline for sat tests is in october, which i'm using to take my SAT I reasoning test.

what should i do?! should i retake them in november (3 chances)??!

730 is fine for Stanford as long as you get 2300 or higher on your SAT I's. Focus on the SAT I's.

I'm in your position too. I got a 720 on the June math iic and was so dejected! I believe I only left 4 blank and probably got so many wrong haha. I might retake it in november, depending on how well i do on the october sat.

ricegal: in her stats profile she got "only" a 2100 so it should be important

You don't need a 2300 for stanford.

People here are seriously putting too much weight into the SATs. Sure a high score helps, but a 2100 should be okay for stanford as long as you have plenty of extra curriculars to go with it.

Don't sweat it lmicheellee, just make sure your admissions essays and your extra curriculars are in good order.

whew.
okay.
i'm just not gonna think about all these crazy people in here who are just genius-everything.
i'm just gonna apply. close my eyes. send it off.
