Wow it's so close...

Anybody getting nervous yet? I've been waiting to goto college all through out senior year and now I'm getting a little afraid.. XP

We meet each other NEXT WEEK! Unbelievable...

As a mom, I'm nervous too! And I've been waiting for this day for 18 years!

I don't think the nerves have kicked in yet...but I've been really really excited ever since orientation! And sometimes I still can't believe this is happening; all those years of work finally paid off.

I started packing already. I'm excited and nervous at the same time....9 days left!

I need to pack... XP Gah i have too much stuff.. Although i packed half of my stuff already. XP

I think that I'm going to forgot to pack something very important.

So I don't really get how this is gonna work...so we drive in through our respective gates, unload absolutely EVERYTHING off the car, and start going up and down the elevators while leaving everything on the street? I'm picturing chaos and a big traffic jam here.

Chaos and traffic jams are sort of guarantees. My advice is to bring a younger sibling to sit there with your luggage on the street and guard it while you move stuff upstairs to your room.

Good thing we're a family of six. :) I think it will come in useful bringing the younger siblings to sit with stuff and/or help ferry it into the dorm!

i concede i am posting - just to push a particular thread off the page.

I'll be by myself and I'll have two HUGE bags with me (and that's only part of my stuff) do u think i'll be able to fit both of them into the elevator with other people in it(glaring at me most likely... LOL)</p>

Birnkrant has an elevator... right..? if so, how big is it?

ehh, everyone will have huge bags with them. most likely you'll be glaring at other people.

so i expect other people are going to bring at least parts of their families (that is, besides their parents)?...at least that's what i hope, because i'm bringing my parents, a loud sister, and her loud friend. my sister and her friend are seniors at CSULB and will be there just to send me off...and do lots and lots of people watching and heckling...good thing or not, it'll be a field day for them :p. at least they'll be there to help lug the boxes around. i can see it now...McCarthy Quad's going to be packed...
