I wasn't expecting this at all! I got a letter today, and I am very excited. :)

congrats!!!

wow, congrats! They're already sending out decisions!?

i was accepted today too! i'm very very very happy. swat is my first choice!

me tooo!!
im so excited!!!
it isnt my first choice, but its up there, and i totally thought i wouldn't get in

Are these early-write acceptances or the regular acceptances? If they are early write, how many do they send out each year in relation to the total acceptances offered?

Its very little and not that much, but I wouldnt trust CC for a good answered because things are very skewed on here when it comes to numbers.

I got accepted as well :)
I thought it was very considerate for them to put the "dont make people feel bad for not being accepted yet" thing in the letter.
They're so caring. lol.

and yet here we are, celebrating our acceptances =P

but i thought the password thing was cute. did you also get a flower name?

Everyone gets a password that is a tree/flower/shrub on campus. If you visit and go to the arboretum office, you can even go find it! ;)

lol....i was wondering about that! like "wow...everyone else gives me a random bunch of letters and numbers...swarthmore gives me a flower"

Swarthmore gave me a flower that doesn't work! :P

just in case: what are the exact dates of Ride the Tide?

Does anyone have valid statistics on how many students Swat has accepted at this point?

Congratulations folks. I don't know how many of you plan to attend Swat, but welcome! We are looking forward to having you.

Ride the Tide will be April 17th and 18th this year, onemoreparent.

thanks forgetmenots. Just curious: are ALL admitted students invited to Ride the Tide? ED and all? And are parents welcome? I guess not...

Yep, all students, including ED! I think there might've been an activity for parents on one of the days, but in general, it's for students. :]
