I really should have visited this forum more often.

Can anyone tell me if I could still join in the Regular Admissions pool even though I didn't submit any QB stuff to QB by 30 Sep? I JUST found out about QB!! I'm an international, and I really wanted Yale.

I still wanna try for Regular because I think if I submit a QB app/supplement to stanford columbia etc, I'll have higher chances of admission. Can anyone confirm that? It allows you to write tons of essays for the adcoms to read, basically. But I'm not a finalist or even a non-finalist - I didn't submit any QB app.

I have a question though. If you're not matched, or if you're not even a finalist, does the QB app still give you a better shot at the QB partner colleges during Regular Admissions? I just think I wasted a HORRIBLY good way to increase my chances, if the above is true.

Well, it only helps if you are a finalist. It basically tells colleges that you are still doing well in school after going through difficulties in your life. In some ways it's kind of like a hook.
