i just got rejected from all 8 schools i applied to. very disappointed, however, looking at the stats of the admits, i feel that i do not deserve to have an acceptance, btw. gl with you people

Hey newbyreborn...dont worry, you were probabaly meant to be somewhere else anyway. And if you dont believe in fate, know that you will be happy no matter where you end up..life probably has another plan for you...Good Luck with everything!

lol I got out from everywhere also. 7 places...

Wierdly, this year the average/slightly above average colleges had a smaller % acceptance rate than really really good places... I think. I know Colgate is 730/7500. I heard Williams was 1000/6000. Im not sure tho

Hey, those are not AVERAGE schools!!! They are awesome.

Aww, Newby, that's really too bad. I've been following your posts on CC and you seem really smart and nice, a killer combination. I'm sure other options will work out for you.

Best of luck!

Newby,

I am sorry that this did not work out for you, but I am sure there have been some lessons learned about the application process. From your postings, you got into a really good program in Canada. I don't think that we have heard the last from you, as you can always try as a transfer. All the best.

thx everyone :), i will try to transfer to dartmouth, ever since my interview, i have gotten this urge to go to Dartmouth, it was very disappointing to receive that rejection, however, like sybbie said, i have got a lot to learn about application process, i have to admit, my applications were rushed. I wish everyone who got in the best and i hope to be able to come to dartmouth one day :)

Sry i meant comparativley
