wow seniors. who's relieved that the 2006 semester is here!

I sure am!! Just went thru 6 months of hell doing SATs, SAT II's, apps, essays, ecs, and my toughest course load in high school..

whew! this semester will either be a huge breather, or a huge disappointment if D-Day comes and its all rejects :(

but w/e, tomorrow is the first day of the new semester, the one day that i've been looking forward to every morning during the past 6 months.. Hope all seniors have fun this last semester, and hope we all get accepted into our top schools!

My fingers are crossed.

The thing is, everything you just said is finished, now is the financial aid/scholarship round. :(

Forget second semester, I can't wait for summer.

yea summer.... i got so much things planned out already!!!

second semester is a living nightmare for IB seniors, batter up for those exams in may and the IAs

Haha....no need to ak me if I'm relieved. I'm stoked. Can't wait for vacation, non stop hanging out with friends and no work...until it's time to pack and go.

But yeah, SAT'S, SAT II's, apps, courseload, all that junk....I'm excited to leave it all behind.

But yeah...second semester doens't mean we're done yet. Still FAFSA, AP/IB exams and scholarships

UGH, AP exams...U.S. Gov't exam - on my birthday, May 9th. Go me. And it's in the morning so I can't even go out for coffee beforehand or something.

I have to agree with elizabeth...technically I get no break until July when I find out IB score results after testing in May...so the real nightmare begins now...

Leaving the old and preparing for the next stage:

Graduation Date: 06/06/06

graduation date: 666???????

sounds somewhat omnious...lol j/k

Wow, you have no idea. The first half of this year has been horrible, and I don't think this semester can be worse, so I'm looking forward to some more relaxation. I had college auditions for musical theatre and I missed a bunch of days and then I got behind, was turning in college apps at the last minute, got lower grades...but I think everything is finally settling down now. I agree that I definitely can't wait for summer, though. Teachers have dissed me, and the one who I was closest to basically told me she doesn't believe in me anymore, that I shouldn't even bother trying out for scholarships and stuff because "there's a lot of other qualified people trying out too, so you probably won't get it anyway...". What?!
Graduation will be the happiest day of this year for me:)

I cringe that in 2 months...

yeah okay you get it.

I'll be happy when IB exams are over! I have to finish (and start some of) the following: my extended essay, history IA, world lit 2, tok essay, fla dossier, french oral and english oral ON TOP of regular homework... all before spring break! Not to mention that field hockey tryouts and Kiwanis happen right in the middle of all that. I'm in for a fun two months.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

On the plus side though, my report card today was very happy! :)
