I got an e-mail this morning apologizing for the fact that they could not offer me an interview.

Does that mean anything? hehe

Don't worry, I'm in Sac too and I got the same email. There just must not be an alumnus who can do interviews in our area. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything! Don't forget to keep checking the admissions blog, they will let us know the night before decisions are released :)

I applied and got no interview, and did not get the email. Weird.

Did you request an interview or something?

yeah. they have to be requested.

I requested an interview late last year and they responded with the same email. Actually, they matched me with someone a month later but after a few weeks I got another email saying that interviewer was busy :P. At least I tried lol.

Rough.

I applied, didn't get anything back though.

I requested an interview back in October, and I didn't get that letter until yesterday. I already figured that I wasn't getting an alumni interview. That letter was just ridiculously late, and I was rather put out by it.

Oh, and btw, I'm in the Los Angeles area.

South Bay. Same deal.

To be clear, I did request one.

I requested an interview back in Novemeber. After about a month of not hearing I sent out an email and I was assured that I would get one soon. Then again another month passed, and I still had not heard. So, I sent another email. Finally I was given an interview in February. Apparently my persistence came through. Since I live relatively close to the University, my College Counselor is convinced that any and all contact with the University, since it is easily accesible, is a must.
