Wow This Is Really Weird

OK, I don't know if this is true or not, but I was talking to my college counselor, and telling him about how I got the letter from Cornell asking for that financial aid thing during like the last week of November. I filled it out like a week letter and sent it in probably like the first week of Dec. Then, I find out it takes 1-2 weeks to "process" before reaching the college. Anyway, my counselor suggested that maybe I got deferred to RD because they didn't have that in time?!?!? IS THIS POSSIBLE??
Personally I dont think so b/c couldn't they just send me my financial aid **** later?? AHHH I DONT KNOW, I GUESS I AM JUST LOOKING FOR ANY HOPE, ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!!

ALSO IF THEY DIDN'T NEED IT WHY WERE THEY ASKING FOR IT?? I think CORNELL IS TRYING TO DRIVE ME NUTS.................ITS WORKING

I doubt it, I got a friend who didn't even turn it in (well off) and he was accepted. Even if they processed it, cornell is need-blind etc, no? So technically, they shouldn't even consider it in the process.
