wow...

so im new here, but ive been scrolling around the gt forum...and everyone's like super smart. i heard the class of 09 is ridiculously competitive in all areas...mainly on the national level but is tech really hard to get in? i definitely know my weak areas but when compared to other kids on here...it really really scares me. i have heard tech's acceptance rate does go down each year...

Definitely not hard to get in, I just think it's harder to stay here all 4/5/6 years.
I mean, if your GPA is above a 3.2 and you have decent SAT's, it shouldn't be too hard. If you have anything lower than a 3.2 I'd think you would need a strong SAT as collateral.

thanks...

so the recent update was that most of those who got in as psp semis this year had an sat range b/w 2150-2300ish...ridiculously good. i scored way lower than that but does that mean theyll consider regular admission kids the same way as well?...looking at sat scores within that range??!

chloelp.09, where did you see this recent update.

3.7, 1300+ should be more than good enough to get into Tech. Take away from the GPA, and add a little to the SAT and vice-versa.

Even a 3.5/1300+ could get you in.

This gives the current PSP update, which is not related to overall admitted stats.

idk about the 3.2 thing, but i remember someone saying maybe on these posts that the most important thing tech looks at was the math score and the english or cr score. maybe someone can affirm the 3.2 thing.

bump bump bump
