that is kinda early....
but washu's always good at getting a lot of people to apply, cuz they have a huge marketing campaign.
btw, i like ur name!

My D also told me that she just got her email this afternoon from WashU as well. This is way too early to even think of college application process at this time, when D is still in the beginning of 2nd semester of Junior year.

@smiley44--I like your username as well haha! they're quite similar huh? Yeah, I heard about their marketing! Should I expect to get a lot of stuff from them in the future? Right now, I'm just getting a random little postcard thing about some WashU event or whatever every now and then. But oh well, I don't mind. I like WashU haha

Yeah, it's REALLY early. I start 4th quarter next week...and right now, I would just like to get AP exams over with. I don't even want to think about college apps at this point. WashU...what were you thinking??

also remember, unless you apply ED, even if you send in your application by october (like me) they still won't get back to you until march. excruciating waiting process. but worth it for me :]

WashU has their calendar act together. Not just the app, but everything. Family weekend two years out. Commencement two years out. Orientation info a full year out.

^Wow. That's really amazing. Yeah, I like to know things ahead of time and all so this is pretty cool. It's one less supplement thing I have to worry about getting in the summer! I have it all saved, printed and ready to go.

@Rosarita13--Yeah, def not applying ED. But CONGRATS! I'm assuming you got in? :)

Thanks, I might have to take you up on that offer haha. I feel like I don't know anything about this whole college process right now. I'm hoping I'll get some decent FA from WashU or a scholarship or something..

I'm not completely set on WashU yet, but I, like Rosarita13, have also been accepted and am free to answer any questions you may have! Also, if you have any questions about applying for scholarships, I might be able to answer some of those questions too, I'm a finalist for the Annika Rodriguez Program...your best source of information would probably be ST2, though. ST2 answers all of our questions and is very knowledgeable of all things WashU.

You should definitely expect to get TONS of stuff from WashU - I hadn't even considered it as a school for me until they mailed me tons (I mean packets of information once a week) last year and at the beginning of this year - so I applied, and I got waitlisted. Haha. Guess it means they're sending stuff to many people!

Haha I look forward to getting the stuff! I haven't gotten much yet but I expect that it'll come pretty soon. I really want to learn more about WashU.

Yeah, I know a whole bunch of people who were waitlisted. Kind of a shock, actually. They're all really intelligent.

Congrats on getting in Rosarita13! And good luck making your choices guys!
