wow...

So far, I have been rejected by Duke, Rice and Notre Dame. Luckily, I was not crossing my fingers for any of those universities. But, I am starting to think that my chances for Brown is now one and a million…
AH!
April fools for acceptance? I think so!

Where has everyone been accepted to? Or, sadly, rejected.

wow I have not been on here in a while. Yes I’m very nervous for thursday. I’ve been accepted at Bowdoin, NYU, Macalester, UVM, UMO and waitlisted at U. Chicago. I was originally deferred ED from Brown

OMG ME TOO! I feel your pain! I got accepted to all the UC’s I applied to (UCB/UCLA/UCSD/UCI) but pretty much waitlisted/rejected at all the private universities I applied to so far. Waitlisted at Duke, Amherst, Carleton; rejected from Pomona. Still waiting on Brown and JHU, but as of now I’m pretty demoralized/too stressed to do homework hahaa. Super nervous for April 1st. =\ Best of luck to everyone…

yeah waitlisted from wellesley.
rejected from mellon, uva, barnard, gwu, chicago, and georgetown.

but im holding onto hope for brown.

Accepted at: Oberlin, McGill, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Geneseo, and Brandeis.
Waitlisted at: Colgate,
Rejected at: Georgetown, UVA, UNC Chapel, Swarthmore, and Northwestern.

I feel your pain, and the anxiety is starting to get to me.

Accepted at Boston U, RPI, Northeastern.
Waitlisted at Carnegie Mellon.
Rejected at MIT(deferred EA), Stanford, UChicago.

Waiting on Johns Hopkins, Tufts, Columbia, Brown, Yale, Princeton, Penn, Cornell.

Needless to say, I’m scared.

Accepted at: American, Fordham, Tulane, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Geneseo, Hamilton, GW, Dickinson
Waitlisted at: Haverford
no hope for brown

Accepted: UC Berk, UCLA, UCSD, UC Davis
Rejected: Stanford
Waiting: Brown, Yale, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton

Thursday’s going to be stressful…

Accepted: UC Berkeley, UCSD, UCSB, UCI, Carnegie Mellon
Rejected: USC, UCLA, Northwestern
Waiting: Brown, UPenn, Cornell

LOL, my rejections/acceptances are wacky, so I’m worried too =|

Accepted: Berkeley, UCLA, USC, NYU, UCSD, UCSB
Waitlisted: Duke, Northwestern, Chicago
Rejected: Yale, Stanford
Waiting for Brown, Columbia, Williams, Tufts, COrnell

SO nervous

Accepted: Carnegie Mellon, Boston U, Northwestern, Pitt, and my icky state school XD
Rejected: UChicago
Waiting for Brown, Harvard, Yale, Tufts, Princeton, Penn, and Cornell. Obviously my acceptance to rejection ratio is soon to undergo a major shift. :stuck_out_tongue: Currently trying to keep my mind off the impending doom… must focus on schoolwork instead… argh.

I’m exactly like imsotired… I got into every UC (UC Berk, UCLA, UCSD, UC Davis, through ELC: UCSB, UCR, UCI, UCM) but I’ve been rejected or waitlisted at every private school I applied to so far. I’m pulling my hair out >> Waitlist at UofC, Pomona; Rejection at Stanford. I have no hope for Yale/Brown. Arrrghhhh TT

Accepted at Duke, Rice, Oberlin, Middlebury, and Smith.

Now will come the crash and burn with Brown and Penn. I pretty much already know I am rejected from Penn…only a paragraph of my essay was sent to them and it’s too late to do anything now…sigh

Accepted at UMich (EA), Notre Dame (EA), UCLA, UCSD, BC (Honors), USC, NYU (Tisch)

… Brown is definitely my reach. :frowning: UGH. I’ve fallen in love with Brown.

me too, brown is like a dream.

Rejected duke northwestern U chicago.

I don’t stand a chance.

Also applied Harvard Yale.

so many responses over-night! :]
So, pretty much the majority of us have been accepted to the top state schools we’re located in.
Like for me…in Texas: UT at Austin (hook’em horns!) & A&M:College Station.

Rejected: ND, Duke, Rice. Eff them all :]
Waiting for: BROWN, Harvard (ehh…I know I wont get in), Princeton, Yale and Dartmouth<3

Accepted: Boston U, Boston College Honors Program, Carnegie Mellon, NYU
Rejected: MIT

I don’t know what to think…

Nano - You should think you got into some pretty great schools! MIT is unbelievably tough to get into. It means nothing about you.

If you are thinking applied math, go to CMU. Of course CMU has other great programs too, but that is particularly outstanding. Otherwise, BC Honors is pretty great, or if you are up for a very urban campus NYU is interesting.

Accepted: Boston College, Pepperdine, SUNY Geneseo and University of Rochester
Rejected: Middlebury

Waiting: Brown, Dartmouth and Cornell

Unlike almost everyone else on this thread, I’m gonna actually be optimistic and hope for the best! Hopefully everyone gets what they want…

Accepted at Cornel, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Wellesly, and several other safeties…I am not looking forward to April 1st…Brown is my ultimate dream school, I am also waiting for Harvard, Princeton, and Yale, but believe those students think too much of themselves and did not feel comfortable when I visited those schools (parents wanted me to apply to those 3). The students at Brown was so down to earth and normal, and I fell in love with the place. I will cry for 4 years if I dont get into brown. I think the 30% increase in applications this year will not work in my favor too.
