<p>Okay so someone kindly referred me to <a href="http://www.**************.com/%5B/url%5D">http://www.**************.com/</a>. (College Reviews: Student Reviews - google it) It seemed like a really cool site until I clicked on all the negative reviews. This site just threw me for a loop and I'm suddenly extremely worried about schools I was interested in. </p>
<p>Has anyone had experience w/ this site? Why are there so many negative reviews??? </p>

<p>people who have something bad to say are more likely to find an outlet for their complaints. the happy students may be busy out having a fun time</p>
<p>Take extremely negative reviews with a grain of salt. Anyone can post comments anonomously and some people have an agenda. For example, it is well known than some people who get rejected from a school they wanted retailate by pretending to be a student/alumnus and writing a horrible review. Also, actual students who are disgrunted--and they exist on every campus--are more more likely to write a review than happy students.</p>
<p>If you only see negative reviews, that might be cause for concern but if negative ones are balanced by positive ones--I would't worry unnecessarily. The comments, good and bad, are a good source for questions that you can legitimately raise on tours, interviews, interactive websites or on the school specific forum here on CC.</p>
