Hi, I have created the site "West Point Cadet" so that current and future candidates may look to an additional source of reference for the admissions process.

The site is still largely under construction, but any criticism or suggestions would be helpful.

My e-mail address is webmaster@wpcadet.com

Thank you and good luck.

thats awesome man. Looks like it will really help some kids out. Who's the squad leader in the SLS picture i think i knew her. Powerlifting champ or something along those lines? Anyway good stuff. Keep it up

I believe her name is Lisa D. and, yes, she told us she is a powerlifter able to bench about 350.

Also, the squad leader's personal guide to getting into West Point is available: http://wpcadet.com/dugan.php

wpcadet,

Fabulous start on the web site! And best of luck to you during the Admissions process.

Great site! As a junior who would love to attend West Point, even the limited information you have was a great help to me! I'll be anxiously looking forward to seeing the site being completed.

One quick question-

Is the Independent Academic Workshop that is mentioned in the Cadet Sergeant's Guide the same thing as SLS?

Thank you, I am updating the content on the site as quickly as possible.

The Independent Academic Workshop is the same thing as SLS.

It would be appreciated if others would contribute information that I am missing which might be useful to applicants.

Thats really funny. I was SLS 1- 2/3 Sgt. Dronen. She was best friends with the powerlifting Sgt. Small world.

That's a wonderful site, thanks for the information.

i went to the first session of the sls too! mine was sergeant miller, 4/4.

Ohh I definetly remember hearing guys go around saying it's Miller time...was that you?

If you saw a tiny cheerleader looking chick that couldn't stop smiling yelling it, then chances are it was Megbee. ;)

yes that was my squad!!!! awesome times....hope to see u on R-day, mumford!

West Point Cadet

I've decided that it would be best to stop now before I draw everyone, including myself, further into this silly hole that I've created.

Originally I created this site with some seriousness in mind, as an attempt to help others. Then, a few months ago, after realizing the limited content, I became bored, changed my mind, and started writing with a bit of sarcasm, which is what you see now.

Of course all was written with a certain degree of truth.

However, you will be surprised to discover that back in February, after having received my "glorious acceptance plaque," I found out that I will not be able to report to the Academy in June. There are legal complications with my dual citizenship. My secondary country has recently made an amendment to its constitution which states that I must serve two years in its military before being able to give up citizenship.

After this detrimental realization, I had no choice but to worm my way into a civilian college during the last minute. I applied late and enrolled into someplace local, where I will be able to transfer out of after my freshman year.

On May 1st I started receiving e-mails in my webmaster@wpcadet.com account, for once. I rarely do check that account, and honestly, before this, since I erected this domain back in January or so, I had received a total of five e-mails. At the time I had given up updating this site, because it did not matter too much (for one thing, it never really did achieve my aspiring potential to be an influential guide, when I realized that I did not have much to offer).

At first, seeing all these bizarre e-mails from upperclassmen regarding my huge ego and boasting self-confidence, I tried to be funny and started to play a joke on the upperclassmen cadets. I goaded them on with an encouraging challenge for hazing. But that was wrong. They will be expecting me, meanwhile when I shall never walk on West Point territory as a cadet.

Thus I apologize to all the cadets, for making them waste time on this now defunct website.

Good luck with Beast, for those who will be undergoing it and for those administering it. And although I will no longer be joining you, Go Army!

webmaster of wpcadet.com

someone posted a link on the edodo rumor mill. that guy had the "i'm better than you look" down pact. stuff like that just begs to be hazed.

what was his secondary country? thats kinda stupid that you have to actually do something to get rid of citizenship to a country, and you cant just say goodbye. what kind of person makes a page on their website talking about their faux hemmeroids?

Anyone who wants to serve in the United States military has to give up citizenship to the other nation, it's kind of a security thing. You need to get a Secret security clearance to be an officer, you cant do that as a dual citizen.

Look guys, the kid is obviously still going to show up at WP. However, he realized how big of an idiot he was, so he's using this (legitimate, but not applicable) excuse for why he "won't be there". It's a good ploy, as it seems to have nabbed quite a few of you. But don't worry, he'll be there.

he had pictures up on that site too....

yeah this dbag spent way too many hours diddling his ass to that picture of him and his congressman to not show up at West Point.

He will be there.

And there will be a hazing..
