WPI/ASU/UIC/UTD(Graduate Program in ECE)

I am an International student and have got admit for Master's Program in ECE from the following 4 Universities,
WPI-Worcester Polytechnic Institute(Worcester,MA)
ASU-Arizona State University(Tempe,AZ)
UIC-University of Illinois at Chicago(Chicago,IL)
UTD-University of Texas at Dallas(Jonsson,TX)

*I want to know which is well recognized in the industry. I was told that WPI's undergraduates are welcomed by the companies, but what about its ECE masters?
*Which one among these 4 states has more job opportunities for ECE graduate?

WPI’s masters program in ECE is also good. Since the same faculty teach graduate courses, I can’t imagine how its masters program could be weak. But some topics, such as hardware design are not offered here often. Check to see whether your courses and research interests are in line with what WPI offers. The signal processing/wireless communication group is especially strong.

For jobs in industry, certain fields are obviously much harder to find jobs in. Most grad students I know have found employment.

Thank you. I really hope the faculty can pay more attention to the graduate students as they do to the undergraduate.

Someone told me, if I want to find an internship, CS is much better than EE. Is that true?

how’s the RF Engineering group at WPI??

RF Engineering at WPI is good though I think WPI ECE’s specialty is wireless communications and signal processing. There are two RF/microwave professors at WPI who are experts in their fields, one of whom wrote a textbook on RF that is used by universities across the United States. So I think it is a fine program.

Having good programming skills certainly opens up morer possibilities but I don’t know enough to either deny or confirm this.
