Alright I'm going to get pretty detailed so you know all of the facts. Throught my freshman and sophomore year my grandmother and great grandmother died. I was very close to then as they were our last relatives on my moms side and it caused a lot of chaos. As a result of this, and probably some of the depression that came with it, my GPA was around a 2.6 average for those two years. But listen up, I'm not an idiot nor am I under qualofied, or any less qualified than any other person applying there. Junior year I decided I needes to step it up if I wanted to get into a good college. So I dangerously moved up from regular easy classes that I was getting C's in to honors/ap. I took two honors and one ap junior year. My GPA that year was a 3.65 which was a major improvement for me, I was slowly easing into school again after what happened to me. This year I'm taking AP Calculus ( did I mention I doubled up on math junior year to step up), AP Literature, AP physics, AP Statistics, And AP Psychology and I also got into my schools honors band my GPA for quarter 1 was a 4.8 weighted, 4.0 unweighted, I got straight a's and a+'s. This has to show the admission staff that I'm not an idiot right, I mean I know everybody talks about how upward trend is, and this is a severe case. I wasn't lazy or dumb freshman and sophomore year, I was just going through a lot.
Here's my test scores:
SAT: 1800 (C: 560, M: 700, W: 540) these are from first time taken, waiting for second results.
ACT: To be taken in december, but I scored a 33 on a practice test
SAT Math 2: To be take. In December as well. 800 on practice test
Computer Science A: 4

I'm passionate about math and programming, believe me and that's why WPI is my dream school, let me know what's restricting me and what I can do, I'm obviously going to keep straight as for the rest of my senior year, but I feel hopeless.
On a side note, I made a game programmed in java, spent over 50 hours on it, and its pretty cool, I used it as a tool to study for the ap exam, and I think it might be useful to mention it, as it makes me stand out.
Please just help.
