^ Very impressive!! Which are you leaning towards/want to attend?

Boston University or Boston College. I really need to plan a trip out there to visit them.

Millancad: Did you not apply to Northwestern like your sister did?

^^^I dunno. It’s confusing. But a wonderful confusion XD.

^I did not. I begged her for a long time to let me apply, because for a while she didn’t want me to be there with her. Then she said yes. Then I freaked out, because I was sure that I would get rejected and then she would make fun of me for the rest of my life. If I had been in love with NU, I probably would have applied, but I was too scared of rejection to apply without strong feelings.

Have you tried applying to lower tier Ivies like UNC or Colgate University?

(Either way, you should’ve gave Northwestern a try. Based on the fact that you’ve been accepted to those schools with high stats, I don’t see how you wouldn’t have been able to cope up with NU).

^Me? No. Those aren’t Ivies, but I guess you mean lower tier top schools. I planned to apply to U of M, and OSU. And as far as lower (actual) Ivies go, I did apply to Dartmouth, and planned to apply to Cornell, which was especially lower for me as I’m a legacy.
I applied to Georgetown, MIT, and UChicago early, and got in early, so I didn’t really see the point in applying to schools I liked less.

You’re probably right about NU, but even if I had planned to apply there, I wouldn’t have done so ED, and probably wouldn’t have after I had my EA acceptances. Especially because I had to be all about UChicago in front of my sister.

MIT and Cambridge (England ftw!)
I can’t wait to start applying later this year!!! :D

Columbia, and maybe also Harvard :P

University of Candy Land

Lol… they also have regular decision. You didn’t need EA/ED to apply to NU.

Waseda University in Japan

Stanford or Yale, but I think I really just want to be back in California.

Notre Dame. Two more weeks till RD decisions come out…:/

@ Hopeful, there is no EA at NU, only ED. I’m doing Early Decision in like 6 months?

I believe I was only pointing out to Milliancad that NU accepts regular decision applicants, not just ED since he did not favor NU on EA.

Dartmouth all the way.

@ Millancad

So MIT or Cambridge?

I got extremely lucky today and got accepted to MIT, so now I have to make a similar decision…

University of Washington
Cal

Princeton - I’m a legacy so I’ve wanted to go every since I went there at age 4 for my dad’s 20th reunion. =) We’re going back for his 30th this spring actually, so I’ll get to see it again! :D

Stanford and NYU are my other two dream schools.

DREAM SCHOOL: Harvard. I have been obsessed with this school since I was five, but I definitely didn’t have the stats for it. Hopefully Harvard law in four years.
Dream School: UC Berkeley. I love the atmosphere there. I visited recently and it is beautiful up there. 11 days until the moment of truth.
dream school: USC. I just got in yesterday. I also fell in love with this school at a young age because my sister went there. I have been there so many times for games, events, etc. The school spirit is what makes this place really appealing. Unfortunately, my parents refuse to pay for me to go there since they have already experienced it once. If I don’t get into Cal, I will be going to the crosstown rival, UCLA. My house is going to be so hostile…
