<p>I was wondering if anyone on CC took either writing 30 (poetry) or 31 (fiction)? Seems like there's ample information about 39C but barely any on these two courses. So my question is- are these classes extremely time consuming, ie is it hard to get a good grade? Thanks!</p>

<p>I took writing 30, it definitely depends on your instructor, but no its not really time-consuming.</p>
<p>In order to get a good grade, get on the instructor’s good side, go to their office hours, participate in discussions, and be creative and show effort in your papers.</p>
<p>If only I knew this beforehand…</p>
