So i am a little bit confused about this writing class. From what i have read on a few other threads, quite a bit of people are taking Writing 39B. How are they doing this? The Writing 39B website states in order to be in the class... "Before enrolling in WR 39B, you must satisfy the UC Entry Level Writing requirement, either by passing WR 39A or a S/A designated section of Humanities Core with a grade of C or better". Im trying to figure out if all these people took took Writing 39A during the summer (if possible) and i dont know what "a S/A designated section of Humanities Core" is. Can someone just explain this process to me? Thank you :)

You can take 39B if you pass the analytical writing placement exam or passed AP lang or AP lit test.
