<p>Your best bet would be to go to class first. Sometimes the bookstore lists books for Writing but your professor might not even use it. Your teacher will most likely assign novels for you to read later.</p>

<p>I personally emailed my professor regarding coursebooks, and it seems like we need both. but contact your professor, or just wait til first day of class–the bookstore seemed to have a lot of the books in stock, so i don’t think they’ll be out of them :]</p>

on the writing 39b page it says we need 2nd edition, but the bookstore doesnt specify so should i just assume its the correct edition?</p>
