Writing: 580-800?

I received a 580 and a 10/12 essay. How, exactly, should I go about reaching for the maximum score in this section?

Maximize your performance on Multiple-Choice questions. They require systematic interpretation, just like those for Math do.

You had posted before that you had a 780 Writing. Something change?

Yes, it does seem as though the poster is a lier.

I lied to make a point. It seems as though if you receive anything lower than “perfect,” you’re considered some kind of idiot on these boards (at least, that’s been my feeling).

LOL, silverturtle? …liar.

^ Yeah, really.

jmeg91 i wud not be talking like that right now bro. also u no what happens to liars? this: [YouTube - BALL TO THE FACE - FAT KID IN CROWD HIT HARD](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGIv7MxAn-A)

Woops.

Please link to whatever gave you that impression.

I don’t doubt you’re a bright guy. You get really good grades (unless that’s a lie, too). But you can’t seriously expect people here to consider you Ivy League material if you go around broadcasting that you got those kinds of scores.

It’s not unreasonable to believe that your school system sucks and kinda screwed you over. But if you think that you’re a genius and think that anyone who doubts it treats you like an idiot…

Nice link dipole. Made me crack up. :)

I’ll send you a copy of my transcript in a couple weeks when they mail them (if you want). My grades are good.

JMEG you are trying to hard, you dont need to impress him or anyone else. Do what you need to do, and atm that is studying for the sat.

I consider myself an idiot when it comes to many things, but not because of my far-from-perfect SAT score. You may have been trying to make a point, but buddy, you failed. Miserably.

Furthermore, I think that your sentiment strays far from the realities here.

Please come back and try again.

Let the ■■■■■ thread die.

It’s not a specific thread which blatantly says “If you don’t get a 2400, you STUPID” it is the general mood. There are 2400 clubs, heck even 4800 clubs! People with 2300+ ask if they should take it again! I’m not saying I feel stupid or that these people should refrain from such posts, but I can understand how someone can feel stupid/discouraged through these posts.

LOL love that link XD

wow nice try, i bet you got 720 CR too right? maybe in a few days we’re going to see a post from you, “450-> 800 CR?”

you’re gonna get a 2400, don’t worry. ;)

haha it doesn’t matter if they call you stupid if you can’t get a 2400 on the SAT, it matters who you are in the real world.
LOL

Sorry, I am acquainted with neither gotmilklol’s posts nor his scores. Can anyone explain what is happening?

^Um I think you mean JMEG91’s posts, as in the OP of this thread. If you look through his posts, you’ll see he said this:

Now he says he got a 580 on the Writing Section and justifies his lying by saying this:
