Writing an introspective essay about another applicant. Too risky?

So for the prompt, "Tell us about a person who has influenced you in a significant way.", I am considering writing about a longtime friend. My friendship with her has influenced my worldview and forced me to challenge myself, and I'm incredibly grateful for that.

The problem as I see it is that I go to a competitive magnet high school, where many others are applying to the same school early action.. So she's going to be another applicant from my school. It would likely be pretty easy to tell who she was, even without a name.

Is this a really bad idea?

Would the admissions office be able to tell, and would it reflect poorly on me?

Thank you!

Is this a really bad idea?

NO, as long as you keep it in the context of this:
"My friendship with her has influenced my worldview and forced me to challenge myself, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. "
And then elaborate on all the things that YOU have done . How you have changed, grown, learned…
