Hi All,

Does anyone know of any writing competitions that are about current events (or something of the sort) for highschool students? I love writing and I think participating in, and winning if I’m lucky, writing competitions may be a way for me to show my passion for writing to colleges.

I don’t know much about current events essays. Do you like writing analyses essays? Poetry? Those I do know if you’re interested. Sorry I wasn’t of help.
