in may i got 9 wrong and 11 on essay and got 650.

i know

why dont we just all dont get any wrong, that way the score will be easy to predict!!! (800)

Well...

YOu could get 0 wrong and a 2 essay, and then your score wouldn't be an 800

12 Essay 3 Wrong--> 760. Its weird cause math and verbal seemed to have good curves

kenneth, i am a XX. why does my handle look masculine.....oh well. god, this curve was harsh! :/
it'd seem a bit more fair if they weighted essay and MC equally....
are there any other 800s?

"the rigorous statistical analysis that goes into creating and scoring each exam"... har. har. just like a ranking with secret methodlogy....

math doesnt have a good curve either, miss one and its over...

good thing i didnt miss any (800!!)

I had 8 wrong and a 9 essay... 640! A person with 9 wrong and 8 essay got 650... I love the SAT =)

i actually hate it.

i feel like some people dont really understand that millions of dollars goes into research for the SAT to make it fair across all tests for all students...as far as fairness goes it is essentially perfect

we all understand that, its just that it doesnt feel that way

especially for that guy that only missed 2, got a 12 essay, and got 770

ps, how much anxiety is this creating for tomorrow?!?!?!?!

This doesn't make me nervous at all. I can't change how things will be tomorrow, so why worry?

1 wrong 0 omit + 10 essay = 780. Not exactly complaining considering i bombed the essay

I'm somewhat confused. Isn't the writing supposed to have 49 questions? For the october test I got 44 right, 4 wrong, 0 omitted (10 essay) and got a 710. I thought it was supposed to be 49 questions; I guess I just didn't notice on test day.

and i think some people don't really understand that you can't believe everything they tell you when money is involved in the relationship.

Yeah, I missed 2 in math and got a 740.............

I thought that it had 48 questions was weird also, babaloo. I should have noticed that one of the sections had 34 or 13 instead of the usual 35 and 14. Perhaps they dropped a question or something.

The 48 question thing also might have affected the scale. Usually 2 wrong with 12 essay would be 800. 1 wrong 11 essay was 790 this time.

I feel lucky that I didn't get any wrong this time. I barely made 800 with 11 essay.

to soccerfanatic : dude, I missed two in Math and got 760

you live in dubai? i wanna go there so much.....

We're talking October SAT Writing section I assume...I had:
3 wrong, 3 omitted and a 12 essay=720.........is that a good or bad curve?
