MC score, essay score, scaled score

68, 10, 710

my friend missed 9 and got a 10 essay, which scaled to 610

In may I missed 6 M.C (70/80) and got a 12 essay. Worked out to be a 740. I'm told this means it was a brutal curve, but whatever

In march I missed 7 (66/80) and I got a 10 on my essays. It came out to be a 680.

In May I missed 4 with an essay score of 8 and got a 690 (blech!)

In May I missed 3 and got an 11 essay, which ended up being a 750.

My daughter got 3 MC wrong and an 8 on the essay and got a 690, so there was no difference in total score if you got 3 or 4 wrong.

wow this writing curve looks absolutely terrible.

In March, I missed 2, omitted 6, 10 essay, score of 690.

Kristin, How can that be? 2/4= .5 rounded up to 1, so you have -9. I had -9 overall score as well and 10 essays but ended up getting a 680!?

Zeningchen, there were different forms of the test with slightly different curves.
