This is just me crying over things long gone and done, but read on if you want.

I've taken the SATI once in May and did reasonably well on it, scoring a 2250 (780 math, 760 CR, 710 writing). The writing was the only thing that got me down. I wasn't THAT upset until I heard the scores my friends got, on different test versions and tests of course.
Example:
Me: 9/12 essay 3 wrong total=710
Friend from same date different test: 9 essay 3 wrong total=770
Other friend different testing date: 9 essay zero wrong total=800

I understand that curves are different between versions of tests, but does this make sense for there to be THIS much of a difference? Iuno, this has just been bugging me forever. Thanks for reading lol.

this is a guestion for Harvard.Geinus ..it is still a mystery to me how the grading is done in a fair and consistent manner. Each grader can be rigorous and consistent but I still dont see how to maintain scoring standards among the many graders that the CB must have. Toss this out to Harvard.Genius who is a grader.

kpphy88, I did the exact same thing as your other friend -- perfect multiple choice score and a "9" on the essay -- but I got a 780 for the section compared to his 800. What date did he take the test?
