<p>For first one the answer is d because it Would make more sense to say “and still makes” instead. You’ll see what I mean if you simplify the sentence.</p>

<p>friends and I. Should be friends and me. You would say disagreement among US, not disagreement among WE. That’s how you know “me” is correct" instead of “I.”</p>
<p>Actually the first one is MAKE, not MAKES. You can see this by looking at the beginning of each of the three items listed after the word “can.” Can maintain, can treat, and can make. See how each of the verbs are in the same tense?</p>
