writing II

i'm thinking of taking writing II over the summer at UCLA.

has anyone had experience with music history 12w: writing about music? i heard some of the classic english classes that fulfill writing II (i.e. engcomp5w or engl4w) are easier than classes that are about a certain topic, i.e. hum gen M102w or mushist12w. does anyone have any input? and are summer courses generally easier than courses over the year?

summer courses are easier only to a certain extent...meaning some are and some arent. and i would just take english 4w

PS i thought CLS cancelled the writing II requirement, because i remember i was throwing a fit over it since i took the GE cluster in my freshman year.

They just cancelled the writing II seminar requirement, so you still need 1 writing II class, but not necessarily a seminar.

anyone else?

im taking it at community college. it'll be way easier and way cheaper

^that is another possibility i'm considering.

do it! it'll be so much easier

just make sure it transfers....

im taking EC5W right now and its not bad at all. other than i havent started my paper due tomorrow. :D

is it too late to take writing II the summer between sophomore year and junior year?

cant you take it senior year? i was planning to take all my eng/writing classes senior year.

ah **** gotta do it by 7 terms =(.
