Writing MC

Like a lot of you May test-takers, deep down I'm hoping CB messed up and my score is actually better than what I got. At the same time, however, I did decently for a first time, and I'm well aware of how extremely unlikely it is that this is true. But until I find out that there was no mistake in scoring and I'm being unrealistic, I was just thinking, and I have a question: under the writing score, in the subscores for MC score, is that including the 1/4 point deduction? The reason I ask is because I got a 12 on my essay and 68/80 MC. This isn't bad at all, I know, but writing is my best section, and I just know i can do better on the MC than that. The thing is, I didn't omit a single question on writing (I'm 99% sure). So isn't 12 raw points off impossible with no omissions? Or am I just retarded? 8 wrong = 70/80, 9 wrong = 69/80, 10 wrong = 67/80. So either I just missed one and forgot about it (which I will kick myself if I somehow did, because I finished with enough time to go through all of them again), or perhaps there was a mistake? Wishful thinking I know, but hey, just was wondering.

you are just messing with differences of one MC score. Don't be silly. It's not gonna ruin ur score.

No actually. If you miss 10 questions. Your raw score would be -12.5. That sounds up to -12.

The MC score scale goes down fairly quickly. A 68/80 probably means that you missed no more than 5 or 6 questions total out of 49.

I missed 5 questions (with a 12 essay) on the January 2006 SAT and my MC raw score was 67/80.
