Writing on the SAT's

Hey all, I have a questions regarding Writing section of the SAT's. Do Colleges look at Writing section excluding the essay, as much as they look at Math and Critical Reading of the SAT's? like If I am scoring 410, should this score really matter? please help and thanks.

The writing section has been under a lot of debate as to how much weight it should be given compared to Math and CR. Since it is relatively new, there is very little data on the scores of the writing section so a couple years ago colleges didn't trust it at all. Now as the years pass by, more and more data is being collected allowing colleges to have a better idea of how much weight to give it. I'm sure that this year colleges will trust it a little more than five years ago. Still, some colleges refuse to look at it, but most will still consider it, especially if you perform well in it.

oh alright, thanks, however, is my score around 410 well? or should I work more into it?

^Definitely work on it. Any score that is below 600 should never be well, especially when your score is 410, which is way below even the "average".
