Hey all,
Is it usually a better route to take the 4- or 5-credit class with the writing? Or is the regular class with exams preferable? How is the writing workload?

what classes are u talking about?

Intro to Cognitive Science, for example. ([Courses of Study 2010-2011](http://courses.cuinfo.cornell.edu/CoSdetail.php?college=AS&number=1101&prefix=COGST&title=Introduction+to+Cognitive+Science+(also+CS+1710%2C+LING+1170%2C+PHIL+1910%2C+PSYCH+1102)+(KCM-AS)))

“Fall. 3 or 4 credits; 4-credit option involves writing section instead of exams.”

ah ok! it’s like a writing in the majors section.

i think it’s mostly good if you’re majoring in that. i believe its usually only 1 section that’s like that out of all the sections offered.

i would check out ratemyprofessor and see if the professor or TA teaching that section is on it.
