Writing Or NO Writing

I have heard people say that Cornell does not look at the Writing section of the SAT. Is this true cuz that would save me a lot of time preparing for the SAT

Although I’ve heard on here that they don’t look at the writing section, they do require the SAT or the ACT with writing. And if they care enough to require the writing section on the ACT, they probably do care about it on the SAT as well.

Besides, you’re not only going to apply to Cornell (I hope) and many private scholarships will also require SAT scores. Don’t limit yourself by not preparing for the writing section.

I bet Cornell is using the data from the writing portion to help them determine how/when they will use it in the future. That is probably why they require it now. They’re most likely keeping all those statistics to make a determination in the future.
